Wesley College around Sheffield, England was founded in 1838 to educate the sons of the temporalty.
It was at a start known as the “Wesleyan Proprietary Grammar School�.
A vary within name only to Wesley College seems to use at times taken place in 1844, when a “Royal Warrant, constituting the Sheffield Wesley College a college of the University of London was forwarded to Mr Waddy by Sir James Graham, which empowered the college to issue certificates to candidates for examination for the many degrees of Bachelor & Master of Arts, & Bachelor & Doctor of Laws�. A year late it spurred Revolutions per minute. James Gillman, William Ferguson, William Stewart & Thomas Waugh around Dublin, Ireland to consider creating the similar school in Dublin. A school accepted its number 1 90 boarders in 8 August 1838. By 1841 the number of pupils experienced increased to 172. Inside 1905 it was merged with Sheffield Royal Grammar School to form King Edward VII School, known as fallowing a ruling monarch.
